I just wanted to add my voice to the growing number of Americans who want fresh leadership for our nation in 2008 and know that Governor Mitt Romney is clearly the person for the job. He will bring an immense capability honed through business, volunteer, and government experience to the job. He also brings a great amount of class, style, as well as down to earth common sense.
I am a family man who believes Mitt stands for the traditional values that I cherish and want to uphold in our great country. I believe the sacred purpose of marriage is to bring children into the world and to provide couples with the incentives from a societal standpoint that will strengthen the ties between husband and wife and solidify families. I support Mitt because he has led the fight to preserve the institution of marriage from those who want to reduce it to merely a commited relationship between any two people and thus undercut the benefits reserved for families.
I am a relgious man who believes that life should be respected and not destroyed without good reason. Because of this, I support Mitt Romney for his veto of measures in MA designed to expand stem cell research and "emergency" contraceptives and look to him as the candidate who will do the most to prevent the tax dollars of Americans from being used for these things.
I received my undergraduate degree in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations. I believe that we have a solemn obligation to fulfill in Iraq to do whatever we can to help them strengthen and secure their country from further deteriorating. I believe we should continue to have a strong military that can act flexibly as a deterrent to those who want to acquire nuclear weapons and use them to oppress others.
I attended law school and as such, I look at the rule of law as very important to our society. I also believe that judges should not use the law as their tool to impose their own values upon society. For these reasons, I admire and respect Mitt Romney for taking a stance against the Supreme Council of MA by doing all he could within the legal process to oppose the imposition of gay marriage upon MA by judicial fiat.
I am a criminal prosecutor. As such, I believe people have a fundamental right not to become crime victims, whether that be through gangs of illegal aliens or anti-Americans who commit political violence. I believe Mitt Romney takes our nation's security, including securing our border, seriously and that he is the best choice for law enforcement.
I am a fiscal conservative and believe that Mitt is the person to balance our federal budget and to do something about our untenable federal dificit. I was impressed that Mitt balanced the budget in MA, and I know that with his experience in the business world, he has the acumen to understand the issues that will need to be addressed in order to save our country from the monetary and economic disaster the democrats are putting us on.
